How it works
AlternativeTo lists apps as alternatives to other apps. When someone searches "alternative to [big app]", your product can appear on that app's page.
Listing is free. Your account must be at least 7 days old before you can add an app. Every new app is reviewed, and the free queue can take months. Some guides report a small one-time fee (about $5) for faster review.
Good fit if
- Products that replace a well-known app
- Steady traffic from people ready to switch

Step by step

Create your account now
Sign up today. You must wait 7 days before you can add an app.

Suggest your app
Click your user icon (top right) and choose "Suggest new application". Fill in platforms, license, description and tags, then submit.

Add it as an alternative
Once approved, mark your app as an alternative to the well-known apps it replaces. That is where the traffic comes from.
Rules: break these and your launch gets removed
