# How to launch on Uneed

## How it works

Uneed is a daily launch platform. Each day, a few dozen products launch and compete for the daily podium. Your product stays listed afterwards and also counts in weekly and monthly rankings.

Submitting does not schedule your launch. After submitting, you choose how to launch from your dashboard: wait in the free line, pay to fast-track (about 2 weeks), or pay to skip the line and pick your date.

The free line has been very long. Third-party reports say it closed to new products in August 2026. Check your dashboard for the current options.

- A smaller, easier daily race than Product Hunt

- You need it to be free and can't wait months

## Prepare before you start

- [ ] Product name, URL and a short web address (slug)
- [ ] Category, pricing model and up to 3 tags
- [ ] Tagline: 10 to 80 characters
- [ ] A full description
- [ ] A clean logo. Uneed takes your favicon by default, so make sure it looks good
- [ ] At least one good screenshot. Uneed takes your Open Graph image by default. You can add more images or a video

## Step by step

1. **Submit.** Go to uneed.best/submit-a-tool. You can start without an account. Fill in the details above.
2. **Choose your launch.** Open your dashboard and pick a launch option. Free line: date assigned automatically. Fast-track ($14.99 at time of writing): date in about 2 weeks. Skip the line ($29.99): you choose the date.
3. **Launch day.** Your product goes live around midnight Pacific time. Share the link with your users and reply to comments through the day.

## Rules (break these and your launch gets removed or ignored)

- Don't buy votes or use vote-swap groups
- Prices and queue rules change. Check before paying

## Tips

- Fix your favicon and Open Graph image before submitting. Uneed uses them automatically
