## How it works

There's An AI For That (often called TAAFT) is the largest AI tool directory, with tens of thousands of tools. People search it by the task they want done, like "write cover letters".

It's not a one-day launch. Your listing keeps bringing visitors as long as it is there.

A free listing is only for tools that are 100% free or open source. Paid and freemium tools pay a listing fee (reported around $19 to $20). Featured and highlighted spots cost more. Check the pricing page for today's options.

## Good fit if

- AI products of any kind
- Being found for months by people searching for a task

## Skip it if

- Your product isn't an AI tool

## Prepare before you start

- [ ] Tool name and URL
- [ ] The main task your tool does, in a few words. This is how people find you
- [ ] A clear description and pricing details
- [ ] Logo and screenshots

## Step by step

1. **Check the pricing page.** See which option fits: free (only for fully free or open-source tools) or the paid listing.
2. **Submit your tool.** Describe it around the task it does, in the words a user would search for.
3. **Keep it updated.** When you add big features or change pricing, update the listing so it stays accurate.

## Rules (break these and your launch gets removed or ignored)

- Only AI tools
- Free listing only for 100% free or open-source tools

## Tips

- Name the task in plain words ("remove image backgrounds") rather than a clever slogan
